Initiatives in Care Ltd

Welcome to the Initiatives in Care website
Since the company was started a little over a decade ago, significant changes have occurred in the key areas that we operate in, and the traditional role of social work continues to be an increasingly complex and difficult one, and as it now is clearly set in the digital age, we have changed the emphasis of our work to reflect this reality.

Our services are provided by very experienced senior managers supported by a team of associate consultants who have a wide experience of public sector reform can also provide us with additional capacity to work with clients if needed.

Collectively we have extensive operational track records in programme and project management and transformational change and have helped clients exceed expectations and produce good results in difficult circumstances. This has been gained from direct exposure to many of the aspects that drive, shape and influence social work, ranging from policy analysis, strategy formulation, performance improvement and information management right across professional, organisational and political boundaries.

Collectively, what we can offer to your organisation is:
  • A diverse set of organisational skills coupled with a broad range of experience from social policy to human resources, information technology, and financial management.
  • Extensive, and well-grounded public service reform management and specialist knowledge in performance management and organisational improvement.
  • Initiatives in Care - Social Care and HealthDirect management and leadership development through extensive personal experience of working at senior levels across the public and private sectors.
  • Advisory roles in relation to public service scrutiny, including post-implementation reviews of systems & technology projects.
  • Independent programme management quality assurance – based around the simple notion of “doing the right thing, doing it right”.
